(16-02-26) I have begun the uploading of stock images to the web site. The items will then be available for purchase on our eBay store page. I did a test upload of about 10 to 20 "Buy it Now" items and it seems to be working. Once the upload is finished and tested I'll put a link to the store here.

(12-11-25) Well, that was fun! We lost the main computer and the whole web site and a ton of website data. Luckely I was able to do a back up from The Wayback Machine, clean up the files, update and we are back! We have changed Hosting providers and are now using newer more powerful computers. Time flies when your having fun!

(31-8-23) The test database has now been finished and has been upladed to the site. It took longer than I thought it would to convert our Microsoft Access database to a MariaDB database. As I had never used MariaDB before and always had the data completely seperate from the web site. Now hopefully the data will be relational and up to date at all times! (LOL, yeah right) The idea being that when we only have 1 copy of something and it sells the database should update in real time. Now, I just have to get the .html pages and the .php pages to talk to it! I am using Dreamweaver 21.3 which seems very powerfull and much more advanced than the old Microsoft Front Page, but it seems to have enouph similarities that I can at least understand a bit of what is going on. This whole site has been built on Dreamweaver and I am very happy with it, so far! I'll keep you posted.

(10-8-23) The e-Commerce test web pages are now in production. My testing section is on the FAQ page. It's not very intesting yet, but you are more than welcome to follow along with my progress. The relational data base is set up and testing is going very slow, Day 2 of something I thought would take maybe an hour at maximum.

(5-8-23) The CGC comics page has been updated with all the CGC comics currently available in stock. I will be working on the prices and information page template soon.

(3-8-23) The website redesign is UP! It's still very much a beta test version, but I have now loaded an SSL so that goldcoastcomics.com will be a secure site. I am still wondering how I can get traffic to only go to the secure site rather than www.goldcoastcomics.com or any other variant but I'll do some reaserch on that one. Let me know if you have any suggestions! The contacts page form now works as well. so if you are reading this drop me a line and let me know.

(2-8-23) Welcome to Day 1. The website re-build is happening! I am spending about 3 days a week on the upgrade. The first few pages are in the template stage and should go online this week, hopefully. The hosting issue is now fixed, you may have noticed that we have been offline for a while. The controls for the site are now completely different and although I am sure I can do much more on the new hosting platform. Working out how to do everything is a challenge. I will be working to get the https security message that comes up on all the web browsers removed, and the CGC comics listed and then incorporate ecommerce and the database. More web site news soon.
